Before Daniel ever faced a lion’s den, he had already built a life of steadfast devotion to God. That devotion produced excellence. That excellence left his enemies with nothing to find. And when the only trap they could set was one that targeted his faith directly, Daniel never flinched, because compromise had never been an option. He had been practicing steadfastness for decades, in the quiet, in the ordinary, in the moments nobody was watching.
